FAQsDo I need to move my heavy sofa?No, we can either work around it or we'll move it forwards and backwards to ensure the carpet underneath it is cleaned. If it has wood or metal feet, we will place it on protector pads to ensure you don't get any colour transferring onto a damp carpet. Does the room have to be empty?No, we ask you to make the room as clear as is possible , otherwise we move any item of furniture if it is safe to do so and then we put it back placing protector pads underneath any wood or metal legs. I work long hours, are you available at weekends?Yes, Whites Carpet Cleaning take bookings for every day of the week. Weekends can be very popular so it's best to book in advance. Simply request this when you book , there is no extra charge.Will the stains come out? Most spots and marks will come out as part of the cleaning process however any good carpet cleaner will tell you not all stains do come out. Often if a stained carpet has been treated by a supermarket cleaning product, and it hasn't worked, it can 'set in' the stain. We bring all our stain removal experience and products to ensure if it can be removed, it will be removed. In the recent past, we have successfully removed many stains including tar, rust and gloss paint. If we know the carpet/upholstery fibre and if we know what the stain is, how old it is and what has been used on it , we can usually predict the outcome. How long will my carpets take to dry?Your carpets are touch damp at the end of the cleaning process, depending on the type of carpet we suggest 4 hours with ventilation or central heating. Can I walk on them when they are damp?Yes, bare feet or use the complimentary overshoes we provide. When can I put my furniture back onto the carpet?You will need to wait until the carpet is completely dry before returning any furniture with wooden or metal feet . Alternatively, we can give you some polystyrene blocks for the legs to ensure you don't get any colour transferring into a damp carpet. Are you insured?Yes we are fully insured for public liability and treatment risks. Will you give me a rough price?The price we quote will be exact with no surprises. It's important to be weary of companies out there who will quote you a price that seems to good to be true. Be cautious of this as they can charge you for extra stains they come across.
